She was one of America's top female soccer scorers. Her team had to suspend the season during her junior year and sophomore years due to a knee injury. In her junior year, she played soccer again full-time and was able to win every game. She was awarded a bachelor's degree by the University of Portland awarded her a sociology bachelor's in 2008. Rapinoe's SOCCER CARRIER Rapinoe was a member of the Chicago Illinois Red Stars team of the new Women's Professional Soccer WPS in 2009. They played her until the end of 2010 when the team broke up. She played for a short time playing for Philadelphia's Philadelphia Pennsylvania Independence before being traded to Boca Raton Florida MagicJack. Rapinoe has scored two goals for the United States in the 4-3 win over Australia in the Olympic bronze medal game at Tokyo in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic which Japan was forced to postpone until 2021 because of the pandemic won the gold in Tokyo in 2016.
