Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. 2019) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5, 1998 at Minsk Belarus. Aryna Sabalenka holds twelve WTA Singles titles. One that was awarded the title Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2023. When it comes to doubles, she's also a great player. She's been a winner of two Majors with Elise Mertens: the US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. With her fellow Belgian tennis player, she also took home her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making the Sunshine Double. Only four couples were able to achieve this feat in women's doubles. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she climbed to the second spot on the list of world singles rankings her top ranking again in January 2023. She rose into the top spot of the doubles ranking the next year after winning at Melbourne. She became the only Belarusian tennis player to achieve success in the field. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 until the close of 2019 as well as a portion of the early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann also served as her coach for short periods from August to September of 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
